Privacy policy

This policy explains how QuickQ VPN handles your information while providing network acceleration and privacy protection. The core principle fits in one sentence: we do not record data that identifies what you do online.

Effective 15 January 2026 Last updated 13 October 2026

1. What we commit to

QuickQ operates a strict no-logs policy. We do not record, store or analyse your browsing history, the websites and domains you reach, the contents of your DNS queries, the data you transfer, or any mapping between your real IP address and the tunnel IP you are assigned.

The practical consequence is that we cannot hand over records that do not exist, even if asked. That is precisely why we chose our current operational architecture and jurisdiction.

2. Data we never collect

  • Browsing and destination records: which sites you visited, which apps you used, how long you stayed.
  • DNS query contents: which domains you resolved. All lookups are handled inside the encrypted tunnel.
  • Traffic contents: your communications, files and payloads. End-to-end encryption makes them unreadable to us by design.
  • Timestamps linked to your account: we do not keep logs that could reconstruct when you were online.
  • Real-IP to tunnel-IP mappings: these exist only in memory and are destroyed when the session ends.

3. The minimum we do process

Running accounts and subscriptions requires a small amount of data, and its scope is deliberately narrow:

Data we process, why, and for how long
Data typePurposeRetention
Email addressSign-in, password recovery, subscription and service noticesDeleted within 30 days of account closure
Password hashAuthentication (salted and irreversible)Deleted within 30 days of account closure
Subscription and payment statusEntitlements, renewals and refunds5 years, as required by tax law
Aggregated performance countersNode load balancing and capacity planning (not linkable to individuals)90 days
Support ticket contentsInvestigating technical issues you raise12 months after the ticket closes

We never store your full card number, CVV or payment password. Payment processing is handled by a PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateway.

4. Encryption and security measures

  • AES-256-GCM for the transport layer, with X25519 key exchange and forward secrecy.
  • Session keys rotate automatically every 45 minutes.
  • DNS leak protection, IPv6 leak protection and a Kill Switch built into the client.
  • Least-privilege internal access with multi-factor authentication and audited sensitive operations.
  • An annual penetration test and code review by an independent security firm, with the summary published.

5. Diagnostic logs and support

When you open a support ticket and attach a diagnostic log, that log contains the client version, protocol type, connection timestamps, handshake results and error codes. It does not contain browsing history or visited domains. You can stop the upload at any time, or ask us to delete attachments you have already submitted.

6. Third parties

  • Payment providers: receive only the order information needed to complete a transaction — never your network usage data.
  • Infrastructure suppliers: provide data centre space and bandwidth on a bare-metal basis and have no access to encrypted traffic contents.
  • Analytics: the website uses aggregate measurement that does not depend on third-party cookies, and performs no cross-site tracking or profiling.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information for marketing purposes.

7. Your rights

  • Access and export: review the account information we hold in the account centre.
  • Correction: change your email address and account settings at any time.
  • Deletion: request account closure and we will delete related data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax purposes.
  • Withdraw consent: unsubscribe from email at any time without affecting your account.

To exercise any of these rights, submit a request through the support page. We respond within 15 business days.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we update the "last updated" date on this page and notify registered users by email. Continuing to use the service after that point means you accept the revised policy; if you disagree, you can stop using the service and close your account at any time.
